Real Connection

I have been exploring the many nuances of connection lately.
Because I prefer to live in the depths, this is an invitation to drop in with me below the definition and conversation about connection, and into the feeling or lived experience of it.
Let’s get real about connection, shall we?
Where and with whom do you feel most connected? What is it that allows you to feel connected to someone or something? How connected are you to yourself? In relationships with others?
For me, true connection begins with trust and vulnerability. Connection is an inside state of being ~ a sacred act of co-creation and begins with me. It is not something found “out there.” The degree to which I am deeply connected with myself, will reflect the depth of my connection with you.
I need to feel safe within myself and with you in order to share my tender, raw parts. My desire is to be witnessed ~ Seen, Heard, and Held in love, respect, and kindness. This is a sacred space and one I don’t take lightly or for granted.
I desire our connection to be mutual and reciprocal. The energy exchange flows in a balanced way between us. I trust I won’t be judged if I share something you may not agree with or have experience. This is true diversity ~ I love the variety of others in my life, for it makes the most beautiful bouquets.
Real connection is a dance ~ sometimes I lead, sometimes I follow. It has a frequency and resonant vibration. In the wonder of this mystery, let us be curious and playful with one another.
Let us express our love freely and without expectation. Connection fuels the soul. May we all bask in this nourishment as much as possible.
If you are feeling disconnected, please reach out. I am here to be your witness.
Feeling this deeply and lovingly. Thank you Marlene for sharing and making my heart swell , again. 💝
❤️ Very well said!
Defining or finding ones "True Self" is the understanding and control of your own being. The part of the soul, our personal energy that defines us inside. This can be very difficult for many with so much societal noise, unwarranted and sometimes unrealistic expectations, misdirected family guilt and frustration lead to confusion that intensify the process and achievements in the search for "True Self". First you must define the difference between the self and ones "True Self" that which embodies the Soul.
Lovely! My sphere of connection is more a spiral. The tighter the curve, the fewer humans inhabit. 🥰
